Getting In Your Game
Did you know that most of the results in your life are due to the “Inactions” that you have taken, not actions. That’s right, if you inventory your results in life, and you find that you do not have enough of something you want, it is probably because of inaction.

We get stuck in our fears … fears that are hinged in our blueprints … and we do nothing.

The biggest inactivity creator is addiction to approval. That’s right! I use the word addiction, because there is a definite pattern that I have observed in people that do not have the results they want, be it financial, relationship, or otherwise.

More often than not, the school yard peer pressure environment is alive and well in adults. We find something that we may like, then we go ask the people that have no results in their life what they think about it. The answer is predictable.

You see, people that don’t have the results they want in their lives, will kill your idea because they don’t what you to have the results in their won lives. Or maybe they want better results, but they lack the discipline, coach-ability, and tenacity to become a successful entrepreneur.

Not everyone that starts a business will be successful the first time. In fact, you could ask all successful business owners and you wind at least one story of failure in their background.

Is the possibility of failure keeping you out of your game? Do your loved ones or friends disapprove of your dreams and goals? Has what others say about your goals and dreams left you feeling alone? Has that addiction to approval left you feeling unfulfilled?

Disapprovals come from loved ones, friends, and popular culture. Underachievement is glorified in our media, and many times successful people are painted as bad people in the media. The Internet has enabled this phenomenon to be carried down to individuals in specific markets, and yet allows for no accountability for people making false or bogus claims. The bottom line is that the conditions for dis-approval are everywhere.

Many times they will send you to the Internet just to find something bad about whatever it is you are looking at.

And the Internet is flooded with reports on forums and blogs from people that quite simply have not yet achieved their dreams. Many of them gave up too easily, and many of them never really got started. There are degrees of interpretation about what getting started and working hard actually is. Anyone that would take the time to go and post a “this isn’t any good, or that’s not any good” article is simply an excuse maker. They want to blame some external factor instead of look inside themselves. Is that who you want to listen to? If you don't have the prosperity you want right now, you have probably been listening to too many people like that already.

There is an alternative. You could listen to those that have succeeded and learn from them. In fact that is how most success is created ... by emulating existing success ... following a known formula.

I have actually experienced the Internet Blog attack thing myself. On a couple of occasions competitors went on the Internet and made unflattering comments as well as some completely fabricated lies about me. These people were not required to leave their real name, address, email address, and phone number. No they could just take some cheap shot at you, and there is very little you can do about it.

Why do they do this? Why do your dream killers try to impose their will on you? Here are a few reasons …

1) Many people have a blueprinted opinion about those that have been successful. Perhaps they think that people with success have somehow created that success at other's expense. Perhaps they tried the same thing, and feel it is their right to have the same results. Results come to those that work for them. If you compare the efforts of the successful to the non-successful you will see the reason for the success and lack of success. Truly successful people build their success through bringing value to the world. The greater the value, the higher the success. So when you see someone that has achieved great success, know you have encountered a true giver of value.

2) Some people feel that the only way for them to be successful is for them to try to destroy or discredit their competition instead of elevating their own game. We see the results in our society of this kind of thinking. Know this for sure ... you may be able to generate some small short term gain by attacking someone else, but in the long run you cannot win that way. It is a very small way of thinking and if you want abundance in your life, you must dismiss any thoughts or feelings you have along these lines. Acknowledge others' success and use it as a motivational tool, not an envy pool.

3) So many people are just angry about their own life’s results and are unwilling to do what it takes to succeed. Success takes lots of effort and commitment. Do all of the research you want regarding success and you will find this universal truth. Success is not an accident. It comes from commitment, hard work, and self improvement.

We live in such an instant gratification society and many people are unwilling or simply don’t know how to get the results they want. So they fall prey to the idea that some “system” or cool web site is going to bring them riches, only to find out that that is not the case. It takes personal development, learning of new life skills, and deployment of those skills with consistency and determination to be successful.

But the real point here is that listening to others “opinions” and obtaining their approval has produced the results you have now. Do you think Donald Trump, Bill Gates, or Mark Victor Hansen ask anyone for approval before they take action? No they don’t and they never did.

No matter what your struggles with success or the idea of success be comforted in the fact that anyone can have the success they want if they would simply learn how. And the only people that can teach you are those that have the success that you want.

Making that big leap toward free enterprise can be scary. But make it fun. What’s the worst thing that can happen? You might lose money? As we all know money is replaceable, your time is not. You only live once, so make it great.

No the worst thing that can happen to you is that you will learn a lot about being and entrepreneur, you will gain new life skills, and you will learn much more about people and how to communicate with them. And those skills will pay you big some day … and that day could be tomorrow. Life is short, live it to the fullest.
