The New Internet Paradigm
Building your community from the first word … Hello.
What is your community to you? It may be your “Team”, your customers, your club. But the bottom line is your community is your lifeblood. If actually want to build one around your business, you have to market and sell with goodwill from the first word in the first conversation.
You cannot build a community of bones and destruction. One of the hardest things about the Networking Direct Sales industry, is that the turnover in that type of business is huge, over 99% per year with some companies and models. When a customer “quits”, your opportunity for further revenue goes with them. Not a good thing considering your customer acquisition cost.
What some have done in direct sales to counter this (the wrong way in my opinion) is squeeze their new customers into the upper or more expensive product offers when they start, with deal making and false promises. Sound Familiar? What kind of community can be built on such a method and model? None really because the bones left behind you will not show up to be part of what you are doing.
Enter, the rejection free NEW way of selling. It is a Staged model. You first establish a personal relationship, you then introduce your customer to your community, at a low price point if that is what they want, you then deliver value. And you then deliver more value. And did I say you deliver more value? You can do this by complete and frequent communications, training tele-seminars, online forums and blogs. When people join YOUR community it is because they want what YOU have to offer.
If you are new and don’t feel like you have much to offer … STOP! Get that thought out of your head. Each of us is a very unique person. We ALL have something to offer the world, the market, other people. We simply have to find our niche, and expand ourselves within that niche. That niche could be a network marketing distributorship, a craft business, a high end services business, whatever your true passion is.
The first step in all of this is to decide and act imperfectly. Learn what you don’t know (while you are doing), get results doing something uncomfortable, then tell the world. Serve Serve Serve your customers, and they will serve you back many times over.
This is the NEW way. Some call it the NEW game. But no matter what label you attach to it, realize this. The world is changing fast right now. People want to connect with other people … again. And what they really want is to connect with LIKE MINDED people. Today’s technology makes that possible. There are many turnkey situations you can take advantage of to get started, taking the imperfect action. But don’t lose sight of the prize … building the brand called YOU.
Our economy is rapidly heading back to the “Free Agent” and Free Enterprise era of days gone by, in the beginning of this great nation. When people where self-sufficient. Our technology enables us to align ourselves with those that can most benefit from what each of us has to offer. The world has shrunk. Play on your stage.
