and Happy Holidays!
I hope and trust
that your holidays are going as well for you as mine are for
me! This is a very important time of the year. For many it
is a time of reflection. Reflection on what the current year
has brought, and what the next year will bring.
Take a few minutes
to reflect on what changes you will make in 2007 to what you
did in 2006. If you truly strive for self improvement, I am
certain you can find even just a couple of things that you
would like to have happen differently in your life in 2007.
The power of intent
is strong. But the power of action, particularly imperfect
action will carry the day, the year, and the rest of your
life.
So as you plan
for new results in your life for 2007, seek and embrace taking
imperfect action. Perfection is never attained it is only
sought. Those that act imperfectly are the ones that get closer
to achieving what is perfection to them.

Getting
in Your Game
Do you have all the results you want in life? Everything you
are experiencing is a result. Your health, your wealth, your
attitude, are all the results of actions or inactions. And
the only one that can change your results is you.
Not too long ago
I was spinning the hamster wheel of life. Only I was a gerbil.
I thought that you just worked harder and hard at attaining
what you wanted and eventually you would get it. I was totally
wrong.
You see, it wasn’t
about getting better at what I was doing, it was about getting
better about how I “felt” while doing it. Since
we attract whatever it is we give attention, focus and emotional
energy to, learning to manage the measuring stick of success
was every bit as important as the action.
Are you too hard
on yourself? Will you settle for nothing but perfection? Or
are you the other way, paralyzed with fear and indecision?
Both of these states produce the same results. And those results
are less than what you really want.
Now society will
applaud you for underachievement and failure because that
is what most of society has embraced. “It’s too
hard to succeed” many will say, right?. Or maybe you
just don’t believe you deserve what success will bring.
The great news
is that you can have whatever you want if you focus your corrective
action on the right thing. You see all of us have a certain
thought and behavior pattern that has been etched into our
being. The foundation for that pattern was developed when
you were very young. And then your experiences, good and bad,
created a habitual response to most situations.
In order to produce
different results, you have to deal with and fix your blueprinting
issues. Otherwise you will start that new thing, and behave
the same way you always did, feel the same way you always
did, and get the results you always did.
But you can change
all of this much easier than you think. It happened for me
over the course of attending a few seminars and workshops.
